Bitou control planned

ANNUAL bitou bush weed control in Cape Byron State Conservation Area, Broadwater and Bundjalung national parks and Iluka and Tyagarah nature reserves will commence next month.

National Parks and Wildlife Service pest management officer Lisa Wellman said temporary closures of areas to be treated would occur between Monday July 15-16.

"Operations are weather dependant," Ms Wellman said.
