THE Big Prawn's tail has been unveiled!

Motorists driving past the new Bunnings building at Ballina this morning have been given a double treat.

Firstly, the second coat of paint has been put on the upper part of the prawn, giving it a nice orange colour.

At the same time, the shadecloth hiding the tail has been removed, giving everyone a look at the prawn's new parts.

The tail is obviously yet to see the bristly end of a paint brush, but the work on its upper section gives a clear indication of what to expect once the painters descend on it.
