Bennett reportedly signs $4m, 3-year contract with Broncos

BRISBANE coach Anthony Griffin has reportedly been told to find a new job as the Broncos plan for Wayne Bennett to return home.

Bennett appears set to return to Brisbane after six years away, with the Broncos board to meet on Tuesday to usher back the seven-time premiership coach.

The Broncos are believed to have offered Bennett a three-year deal and the announcement of his expected return will be made at a media conference 2:30pm (AEST).

News Ltd is reporting that the deal is worth $4 million.

Griffin has one more year left on his contract but has reportedly been told his services will not be required in 2015.

He is in his fourth season in charge at the Broncos and has the team currently sitting sixth following their stirring 28-22 win over the Warriors at Lang Park on Saturday night.
