Argument before taxi death

A GRANDFATHER, killed when he fell under the wheel of a taxi late Monday, was allegedly arguing with the driver over a $43 fare moments before his death.

John Brown, 49, was found dead on the side of the road near Blacktown after he was allegedly hit by the taxi.

His family told news.com.au he had been on his way to visit his son at Marayong but was unable to raise the fare.

The 32-year-old taxi driver was interviewed by police and released without charge pending further inquires
