Apple working on mass bugs
APPLE has responded to news of widespread problems with crashing iOS and Mac apps and has assured its developers that it is working to resolve the issue, according to various reports.
Apps that received updates on or around July 4 in the US were crashing as soon as people tried using them, leading to user retaliation in a barrage of one-star ratings for the reviews of affected apps.
When Marco Arment updated his app, Instapaper, on Wednesday, he too was not spared, and he received various poor ratings. He responded by putting up a post detailing the issue, complete with a list of affected apps, which grew from about 50 Thursday morning to more than 100 that afternoon.

Among the most notable affected apps besides Instapaper are the iPhone and iPad versions of Angry Birds Space Free and GoodReader, according to the list put together by Arment.
Some are now saying Apple's FairPlay DRM may be the cause of the problem.
