Bombers still on target

The Ballina RSL Bombers AFL team's unbeaten run continued last Saturday with a complete demolition of the Casino Lions at Fripp Oval.

New dad Sam Kennedy, coming off a representative game, and close ally Tim Price led the way for the Bombers.

Other main contributors were big Scott Brooks, who kicked 10 goals, and Butch Fisher, who baged 6 goals.

The Lions tried hard all day but were no match for the classy Ballina outfit.

In the other Summerland AFL games, Lismore defeated the Byron Magpies by two points and Murwillumbah easily accounted for the Nimbin Demons.
