Anthem performance angers fans

THE performance of four Great Britain footballers has left fans angry ... not during the 1-1 draw against Senegal, but before it.

Captain Ryan Giggs and his fellow Welshmen Craig Bellamy, Joe Allen and Neil Taylor remained tight-lipped and refused to sing the national anthem, God Save The Queen, before kick-off at Old Trafford.

Their decision to do it has sparked outrage on Twitter, with fans labelling the move an 'embarrassment' and 'disgrace'.
