Andy remembered

THE Ballina Triathlon Club is hosting the annual Andy Frame Memorial Run tomorrow, November 13, in support of the Heart Foundation.

Andy Frame, a promising young member of the club, sadly passed away from heart complications 10 years ago at the young age of 25.

With the support of Andy’s parents, the club decided to host this annual event in his memory to raise funds for charity and this year around 120 people are expected to take part.

The event involves a 3.7km or 5km run where participants have to estimate their finish time in advance.

Watches are not allowed during the race and prizes are available for those finishing closest to their nominated times.

The entry fees will be donated to the Heart Foundation, which this year marks its 50th anniversary.

The event will be held from 6pm at Pop Denison Park, Shaws Bay.
