Aleppo still waiting for supplies
SENIOR United Nations officials have accused Syrian forces of preventing aid deliveries to the besieged city of Aleppo.
Under a US-Russian ceasefire arrangement, all forces are supposed to have withdrawn from a main road leading into the city to allow free passage of supplies.
"The government, I repeat the government, was expected to provide permits, authorisations,” United Nations Special Envoy for Syria Staffande Mistura said in Geneva. The ceasefire appeared to be holding yesterday, with no civilian deaths reported for 24 hours.
