Johncock announces his retirement

GRAHAM Johncock has played his last game for the Adelaide Crows, yesterday announcing his immediate retirement after 227 games.

The 30-year-old was recruited with pick 67 in the 2000 national draft, and made his debut against the Western Bulldogs in round one, 2002.

Johncock kicked 120 goals playing as a small forward, but spent much of career in defence.

He represented Australia in the 2006 International Rules series against Ireland.
