Pavlich and McGlynn both facing three-match suspensions

FREMANTLE captain Matthew Pavlich and Sydney Swans forward Ben McGlynn are facing three-match suspensions after the match review panel's scrutiny of round 16 matches.

Experienced campaigners Shaun Burgoyne (Hawthorn), Andrew Embley (West Coast), Steve Johnson (Geelong) and Kane Cornes (Port Adelaide), are also facing a stint on the sidelines.

Burgoyne and Embley have been offered two-game bans, while Johnson and Cornes can each accept one match out.

Hawks midfielder Jordan Lewis was more fortunate - he can escape with a reprimand after being booked for striking Port midfielder Chad Wingard.

Gold Coast defender Tom Murphy is also free to play this weekend after the match-day report laid against him for kneeing Richmond's Ricky Petterd was thrown out.

Pavlich was charged for a front-on bump against Eagles defender Mitch Brown during the third quarter of Sunday's western derby.

McGlynn was cited for striking GWS midfielder Tom Scully in Sunday's Sydney derby. Scully had to be subbed out after suffering concussion in the incident.
