Missing 9yo Natalya Franklin found after night in the cold

A RADIO transmission announcing missing girl Natalya Franklin had been found alive was greeted with cheers and tears.

The nine-year-old was found by a search party at Raleigh, 20km south of Coffs Harbour, after surviving a cold night outdoors dressed only in a t-shirt and shorts.

Taken back to her family's Northbank Rd property just after 11am, Natalya was reunited with her relieved parents and family.

"She is safe and well, just shaken up a little after a little fall," a police officer said.

Police dogs, water police, a police helicopter, SES crews and nearby residents had joined family and friends in the search.

Natalya was reported missing on Thursday about 10.30am following an argument with her sisters.
