Formula 1 test driver Maria De Villota dies aged 33

SPANISH Formula 1 test driver Maria De Villota died from natural causes as a consequence of the injuries she suffered during a crash last year, her family has been told.

De Villota, 33, was found dead in a hotel room in Seville, Spain on Friday.

She lost her right eye during the crash while testing for the English-Russian team Marussia in England in July 2012.
