Curry proves his MVP selection was the right pick

NBA MVP Stephen Curry has shown why he was voted the competition's best player with a star performance to guide the Golden State Warriors to a 98-78 win over the Memphis Grizzlies in the Western Conference semi-final series.

Curry scored 18 points from six three-point shots and also had a career-high six steals to go with seven rebounds and five assists.

The victory puts Golden State into a 3-2 lead with the next game to come in Memphis tomorrow morning (AEST). The Warriors made 14 of 30 shots from three-point range.
