A NEW 68-night cruise package will take Australians to Alaska, across the Pacific and on a circumnavigation of Australia from September this year.

The unique deal combines three back-to-back cruises aboard the five-star Holland America liner Volendam, enabling passengers to sail to Alaska, across the Pacific Ocean to Sydney and then around Australia.

Departing on September 15, the itinerary includes a flight to Vancouver from any Australian capital city, three nights' accommodation at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel with breakfast daily and 65 nights aboard the 61,000-tonne Volendam, broken into:

  • A seven-night, round-trip cruise to Alaska.
  • A 24-night voyage from Vancouver to Sydney via Los Angeles, Hawaii, Fiji, Vanuatu and New Caledonia.
  • A 34-night cruise circling Australia from Sydney via Komodo Island and Lombok.
