2 charged for disarming planes

A MINISTER and a Quaker activist have been arrested in Britain after allegedly trying to disarm warplanes bound for Saudi Arabia. Police said Reverend Dan Woodhouse and Sam Walton were being held on suspicion of criminal damage. The Methodist minister from Leeds is accused of entering the BAE Systems site in Warton to disarm planes along with Mr Walton. They said their actions were aimed at preventing a delivery of fighter jets to the Saudi government. Rev Woodhouse said stopping planes "would save lives”.
