10 die on NSW roads in four days

POLICE have expressed shock at poor driver behaviour which has resulted in 10 deaths over the past four days, and are urging all road users to step up and use better judgement when getting behind the wheel.

"To have 10 people die on our roads in four days is absolutely tragic and shocking," Traffic and Highway Patrol Commander, Assistant Commissioner John Hartley, said.

"There are simply no excuses when it comes to driving. I'm urging everyone to watch out, slow down and make sound decisions while on the road."

"So far this year, 50 people have died on our roads."
