Volunteers are winners on race day
THE Ballina District Community Services Association has organised a novel way to celebrate National Volunteer Week and show that volunteers are all winners.
The BDCSA has partnered with the Ballina Jockey Club to hold the inaugural volunteer race day to be held on Saturday, May 19, at Ballina.
The day starts at 11am, with racing from 1pm-4pm, followed by live music performed by Luke Vasella until 6pm.
