KIERAN Loveridge, the young man accused of killing teenager Thomas Kelly in Kings Cross this month, is not the only member of his family currently before the courts on a murder charge.

Since Mr Loveridge was arrested and charged with murder over the bashing death of Mr Kelly last week, it has been revealed his 19-year-old cousin Corey Loveridge stands accused of stabbing a teenager to death outside Sydney service station two years ago.

According to the Herald, the stabbing victim was walking with two of his brothers in St Mary's in the early hours of December 1, 2010, when an argument began with two males, one of whom produced a knife.

The 17-year-old was stabbed several times and died on his way to hospital.

Corey Loveridge, who was 18 at the time, was arrested along with a juvenile co-accused.

He appeared in the Penrith Local Court on Tuesday morning and will front court again next month.

Kieran Loveridge will front the Burwood Local Court on Wednesday.

His lawyers are expected to make a bail application.
