TOURISM Australia is encouraging the Australian tourism industry to embrace social media by offering local businesses and regions the opportunity to access its global network of three million Facebook fans.

The new 'Things to do' section on the Tourism Australia Facebook page allows potential visitors to Australia the ability to search for different events and experiences, linking them to the Facebook pages of Australian regions and tourism businesses.

Add your business' Facebook page to the directory by visiting the Tourism Australia  Facebook page, then head to the 'Things to do ' tab. Instructions for adding your page can be found at the bottom.
