Calling for Plateau photos
KEEN shutterbugs have the opportunity to have a photo appear in a calendar promoting the Alstonville-Wollongbar Plateau - which gives you 13 chances to see your work in print.
The Alstonville-Wollongbar Chamber of Commerce today launched a digital photographic competition with the theme: "What does the Alstonville-Wollongbar Plateau mean to you?".
Chamber of Commerce president Lisa Dillon said photographers were encouraged to capture "the essence of the Plateau".
And that, she said, could mean anything from photographing families relaxing, to geographical locations, agriculture or historical things.
Entries open tomorrow, June 15, and close on July 31.
Thirteen photos will be chosen by a panel of three independent judges.
There will be two sections: 12 years and under, and Open.
The overall winning photo will be printed on the front cover of the calendar.
The other section winner, plus 11 highly commended photos, will be chosen for the other calendar pages, with the photographer's name printed alongside their photo.
Details are on the website alstonvillewollongbar.com.au.
