Melbourne Metal Mainstays BORIS THE BLADE are poised to release their new opus 'WARPATH'. Their second Full-Length album will be released on January 27th worldwide through heavy record label Siege Records.

Announced late in 2016 for release January 27, Warpath has already seen a couple of singles - eponymously titled 'Warpath' and 'Misery' featuring CJ McMahon, released online. Now, third cut from the record - 'Paralysed' - sees the light of day via lyric video.

Early opinions on the record have all been nothing but positive, with Metal Hammer saying that "...they'd give Thy Art is Murder a Good Spanking", Metal Wani giving it 4/5 stars and Metal Obsession saying that Warpath "...destroys all in its path, leaving nothing but smoking carnage in its wake."

Boris the Blade has seen some personnel changes in recent times and are now stronger than ever, with the lineup taking the form of Daniel Sharp on Vocals, Josh Lording and Cameron Eyre on Guitar, Coby Chatz on Bass and Karl Steller on Drums. 'Warpath' features guest vocals from artists such as CJ McMahon (Thy Art is Murder) on 'Misery', Scott Lewis (Carnifex) on 'Omens' and Tim Goergen (Within The Ruins) on 'Elixir'.

The 'Warpath' LP has been put together carefully and purposely, with the band hand-picking the people they wanted to work with to craft the brutal collection of tracks - and they had a hand in the production of the record themselves alongside Richie Newman and Mark Harris.

The Vocals were recorded, engineered and mixed with Richie Newman and Mark Harris at Juggernaut Music, Guitars and Bass were recorded, engineered and mixed at Half Moon Productions with Jamie Marinos and Lance Prenc and Drums were recorded, engineered and edited by Roman Koester at Complex Studios. The Overall sound was then mixed and mastered to metal-edged precision by Lance Prenc.

Warpath is Boris the Blade's sophomore record, a follow-up to 2014's 'The Human Hive' and 2011's EP, 'Tides of Damnation.' It will be available worldwide on Friday January 27th - pre-orders available now at http://hyperurl.co/WARPATH2017.
