Big Prawn is waiting on a builder
THE Big Prawn hasn't been forgotten.
Earlier this year Bunnings was given council approval to build a new store at the West Ballina site and move the current Big Prawn on-site, but work has yet to start on the project.
"Bunnings is in the process of appointing a builder for the Ballina store," Bunning's chief operating officer Peter Davis said.
"The development will create over 70 new jobs for residents, along with continued employment for the existing team."
