When award winning restaurant chef Akbar and business partner Sajal chose a location to open their new Indian restaurant, they found Nambour Burnside to be the most up and coming desirable position.

“We have looked from Mooloolaba to Noosa for the right location, but nothing appealed to us in terms of combined location/clientele/atmosphere for what we are offering”, Akbar said. “We like to establish a relationship to our customers and this quite, centrally located township offers just that compared to busy tourist destinations such as Noosa and Mooloolaba” he said.

The Restaurant is BYO and will feature some of the most traditional yummy Indian dishes like barra kebab- lamb chops marinated in tandoori masala, rogan josh curry with fried onions, cashew nuts and coriander or jal frezi - pan friend tomatoes, cumin seeds, capsicum in tangy onion masala gravy, traditional breads and rice dishes and exotic sweets.
